Vegan Oreo Cookie Truffle Recipe

This recipe is a crowd pleaser for all! Perfect for anyone dairy-free and vegan, a simple cream cheese swap makes this recipe just as delicious.

  • Ingredients:
  • 8oz vegan cream cheese (we recommend Kite Hill)
  • 1 package of Oreos (naturally vegan!)
  • Vegan white and dark chocolate (We used Enjoy Life vegan white chocolate chips)
  • Add-ins: 
    • about 8 large crushed candy canes (optional, perfect for holiday cake pops!)

Instructions:

  1. Blend Oreos in a food processor until cookies become fine crumbs.
  2. Hand mix with cream cheese until dough resembles a play-do consistency.
  3. Crush candy canes into small bits and pieces, then hand mix into dough mixture.
  4. Place dough in fridge to firm up for ten to thirty minutes. This recipe is much more oily than our classic cake pop recipe, which can make it more difficult to work with. We used our donut mold to make cake bites with this recipe, skipping a stick altogether. Delicious and easy!
  5. Roll dough into balls, place into My Little Cakepop mold of choice, and shape! Dip pops or cover with chocolate if using Donut cake pop mold. You can place molded dough into fridge before dipping if the dough becomes too soft.
  6. Enjoy! 

 

 

This recipe is perfect for any occasion! The addition of candy canes makes it a perfect festive treat for the holiday season - it's so delicious, no one will know it's vegan!
